Layered Salad
3 cups lettuce, shredded (*divided use*)
1 bunch green onions, sliced
Six ribs celery, chopped
1 package frozen peas, cooked and cooled
2 green peppers, seeded and chopped
1 bunch radishes, sliced
1 cup cheddar or parmesan cheese, shredded
1 pint mayonaise
1/2 lb. bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
In a 9 x 13 glass dish layer 1-1/2 cups lettuce, onions, celery, peas, peppers, 1-1/2 cups lettuce, radishes and cheese. Spoon mayonaise on top and smooth. Sprinkle bacon over top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 24 hours before serving.
